Fluoroplastic - Heat Shrinkable - Roll Covers
FEP Fluoropolymer heat shrinkable roll covers
are specifically engineered to extend roller life and eliminate
roller build-up and picking. Roll covers are used to reduce down
time in a wide spectrum of industries including textile, packaging,
printing, photographic and food.
FEP's unique
properties include almost universal chemical resistance, zero moisture
absorption, and the best anti-stick / release surface possible.
|
Most
materials do not adhere to FEP, those materials that may "cling"
to the surface are easily wiped off with a damp cloth. Nothing releases
adhesives and glue as well as FEP and no other surface prevents picking
and build-up like FEP.
- FEP roll
covers are produced with a .020 " wall thickness for rollers
from ½ to12 inches in diameter and lengths up to 10 feet.
- FEP's unique
design produces a cover with no surface imperfections and greater
flex life, which is especially important on rubber rollers.
For roll covers
in applications where high temperature and/or pressures are encountered,
it is suggested that the cover be etched and bonded to the roller.
Etched roll covers and PFA roll covers are also available for applications
up to 500ºF on special quotation.
Roll covers are easy to apply in your facility or ours. Click
